For the longest time, Vancouver has prevented BC from having a 40 story office tower, let alone a 50 or a 60 story office tower. Since Burnaby isn't directly affected by the VMV, Burnaby is on track to have the first office tower in BC that's over 45 floors. Indeed, a 47 story office tower at 614 feet would slightly rival the tallest in Bellevue,_Washington
